Community Activities

It’s all about being there for the  local community

Creating opportunities for people to come together.

At Wood Lane Community Centre we aim to have activities, projects and services that will meet local community needs, create opportunities for people to come together and offer a warm and welcoming environment to all our user groups and individuals, whether its children and young people, adults or older people. Below shows some of our current community provision.

Setting up your own group?

We want to support volunteer enthusiasts who with a bit of support would like to share their passion with others and get others involved in activities such as knitting, crafting and embroidery. Do you have a leisure interest or skill you want to share with others, contact us and if we can find a time slot and available space we’ll help you set up a small group to do arts, crafts, knit, read, sculpt, wood work or other skills in a social environment.
